Important notice from mamahalo shop: Towards our 7th anniversary in May next year

Thank you very much for your continued patronage of the mamahalo shop. There are only a few days left until 2025.

Next year, in May 2026, it will be exactly seven years since mamahalo shop began selling children's clothing on BASE.

When we first opened, Korean children's clothing was at its peak. At the time, it was still rare, but we worked hard to bring "cheap and cute" baby and children's clothing to everyone. However, the market has now changed dramatically. With the rise of personal imports and large platforms, we are now in an era where cheap and cute clothing is overflowing. In this environment, we have spent the past year constantly asking ourselves, "What is it that only mamahalo shop can offer?"

So, starting next year, we have decided to review the lineup we carry, marking a major turning point. Rather than simply being "cheap," we will focus on "colorful, pop worldviews" and "playful, elaborate designs" that we are truly drawn to. The price range will be higher than before, but we will only select items that I personally believe are "cute!", including cutting-edge artist brands that have not yet arrived in Japan.

With regards to baby clothes in particular, we want to find lots of cute designs that will make every day brighter, rather than just the beige natural items and costumes that are popular these days, especially since this is the time when babies change clothes multiple times a day.

We are also seeing positive results from the inspection work we implemented this year at our partner warehouse in China. We are conducting checks to extremely strict standards, and any items that are not satisfactory are immediately sent for exchange, ensuring thorough quality control. This means that there is a slight time lag before delivery, but we are now able to thoroughly check products before shipping, and we are proud to say that we can now send them out to customers with greater peace of mind than ever before.

We will continue to work towards our 7th anniversary, hoping to deliver a special piece of clothing that will make your heart leap the moment you pick it up.
